40′ Open Top Cradle Container
The super heavy 40′ Open Top Cradle Container can be lifted with a load of steel coils weighing 100 tonnes.
This steel coil carrier enables huge efficiency as it is now possible to load the coils or other heavy material at the steel mill, transport them to the harbour with a heavy truck and lift all the 100 tonnes with one lift onboard.
The 40′ Open Top Cradle Container is also classified for rail carriage.
The 40′ Open Top Cradle Container can also be used even when the lifting capacity would be limited: Lift the container first onboard, then lift the cover off, place the coils in and put the cover back. When used like this the payload of the container is 160 tonnes.
